I found this interesting video urging fair trade cell phones. The reasoning behind the demand is tantalum mining (tantalum is used in cell phones, computers and game consoles) which funds the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Do you think this would increase the price of cell phones and other devices and create other unknown negative consquences from the tantalum miners and other workers up the line of production?
